Testing shouldn't be something that happens to your child. It should be something that happens for them.

Comprehensive ADHD, Autism, educational, and psychological evaluations that uncover your child's strengths, clarify their challenges, and give your family a clear path forward.

Most families arrive at testing after months — sometimes years of struggling, or just not thriving in ways that has been explained. Teachers say one thing. Parents see another. And the child at the center of it all can't articulate what's wrong because they don't have the language for it.

That's what testing is for. Not to label your child. To finally understand them.

At KPLA, our evaluations are designed to do more than identify what's difficult. We map your child's cognitive strengths, learning style, and emotional landscape — giving you a complete picture, and exactly what kind of support will actually make a difference. The result isn't a clinical report that sits in a drawer. It's a roadmap your family can use immediately. At home, at school, and in any therapeutic work that follows.

And unlike most providers, we deliver comprehensive results in two weeks — not two months.

Meet Dr. Jim Langley

Jim Langley KPLA Expert on testing and assessment for understanding neurodiversity

Dr. Jim Langley, PsyD, serves as Director of Psychological Testing at KPLA. He received his master's and doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver and holds specialized certification as an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist with years of focused experience in ADHD and autism evaluations.

As a father of five boys, Dr. Langley understands firsthand the challenges parents face when something isn't clicking and nobody can tell you why. Parents consistently describe his remarkable ability to connect with children who typically struggle in assessment situations — creating an environment where their true abilities can emerge, often revealing strengths that had gone completely unrecognized.

When Jim was diagnosed with ADHD in high school, the experience was clinical and deficit-focused — a list of everything that was wrong with no framework for what to do with that information. That experience shaped everything about how he approaches testing today. "I test children the way I wish I had been tested," Dr. Langley explains. "Making it positive, strengths-based, and an opportunity for parents to see their child in a completely new light."
